In 2014, Henry Fisher decided to make a difference in someone else's life. He decided to hike the Appalachian Trail (AT) in honor of our Julie Grace Carroll. Henry is funding his own trip (and five months out of his life) along with his son, Bennett Fisher, to raise awareness, support and funds for research of Rett Syndrome. We look forward to following their journey and wish them strength, bravery, resilience and joy as they progress. Much like the journey of Rett Syndrome, it is daunting but there is an end in sight if we keep pushing forward. To follow their journey, check in on hikeforjulie.org.
